Interactive Election Map with Real-time Data
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a developer who can create a dynamic map of the island of Aruba with all its districts. This map should be able to pull data in real-time from an SQL database containing voting statistics.
Key Features:
- The map should be a Choropleth map, utilizing different colors for its various districts.
- It should display total voters and allow for user-inputted vote predictions.
- The map should also predict the election winner based on total voter counts.
- Each district should provide information on how many votes it has received.
- Able to check last elections (data will be provided in an exel sheet)
User Interactivity:
- Users will be able to input their party preferences per district in order to make their own vote predictions.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with SQL databases.
- Expertise in creating Choropleth maps and understanding of color-coding for different districts.
- Experience in developing interactive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Prior experience with election data visualization will be a plus.
note: a total of 59 locations to vote and a total of 17 districts
locations and districts are all ready (all in exel with past elections results)
