Interactive Customised Book Design Platform
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I am in need of a talented web developer to create a personalized children's book website (similar to Wonderbly). The crux of the project is to allow the creation of personalised children's books for a print on demand service.
The customer should be able to enter details about the characters such as hair colour, eye colour, name, favourite toy etc. which will then be used to modify book templates.
Key Features:
- Intuitive UI to input the character name: eye colour, hair colour, hair style, glasses, favourite toy (character customisation details will be different from book to book so the capture form should respect this).
- Book templates are in PDF format, with the character customisations being on different PDF layers. Character customisations captured by user will need to map to different layers in the PDF document which will need to be masked as appropriate.
- Illustrations and book templates for the site are already procured. 1 proof of concept book provided (single page document - although full books will be 10-20 pages).
Ideal Candidate:
- A developer with experience in website design for e-commerce and interactive user experiences.
- Prior work with personalised content would be a plus.
