Expert in C++ with wxwidgets needed
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Large, live, sprawling C++ code base with global installations needs more developers with experience of wxwidgets.
The code has been in constant development since 1997, and we are undergoing a growth phase, both in terms of features and of customers.
We therefore need experienced C++ code developers capable of:
1: Understanding and making changes to existing code both to bug fix, and to make minor changes without damaging existing functionality.
2: Improve poor code while making changes. Unfortunately, there is a significant quantity of badly written code, and we are aware of this.
3: Add completely new functionality and features.
4: Provide excellent code quality, in terms of structure, efficiency, commenting and reliability.
5: Database is Mysql-based so must have excellent experience with SQL variant databases.

We are a small 100-year old family business, with about 20 employees, with an excellent period of growth and opportunity ahead of us. We have offices in the UK and USA.
We hope to find one or more new C++ developers to work with the existing C++ team. Our existing C++ team consists of 3 x C++ developers, who have been with us for a combined total of over 60 years. (We have also a python, web and app development team.)
We hope for a long term relationship with many years of working together ahead of us, throughout which we will continue to build the product, and together enjoy its successes with increased global expansion.
