I'm in need of an appointment booking system for a beauty salon. This project involves the creation of a web application in REACT, Google Cloud Function & Firestore to manage
The applications require a scheduling engine, that can manage available slots when booking appointments.
**Core Features Required:**
**Therapist Management** Ability to add, remove, or modify therepists include the skills they poses (e.g. nails, facial, massages etc.)
**Treatment & Product Management** Ability to add, remove, or modify treatments and products including price change in future
**Clients** Ability to add, remove, or modify clients including the client consultation form
**Offer** Rule based offers creation and management
**Appointment Booking: A scheduling engine to book one or more treatments during an appointment based on available slots and skill required to do the treatments
*Point of Sale** Check out a booked appointment or a walk-in and record transactions (cash, card, bank) against each sale.
- **User Management:** Ability to add, remove, or modify user roles and permissions, ensuring only authorized access to the application using google firestore
- **Scheduling Components:**
- Calendar View: An intuitive and interactive calendar to schedule appointments, with the capability to view daily, weekly, or monthly schedules.
- Appointment Booking: A seamless interface for booking appointments, including setting up recurring appointments and managing cancellations or rescheduling.
- Resource Allocation: Tools to assign resources (human or material) to specific appointments or tasks, include conflict detection and resolution mechanisms.
**Ideal Skills and Experience:**
- Proficiency in React for the frontend development to ensure a responsive and user-friendly interface.
- Experience with Firestore for backend services, leveraging its real-time data syncing for up-to-date schedule and inventory management.
- Strong background in developing complex backoffice or ERP systems, particularly with scheduling functionalities.
- Knowledge in implementing robust user management systems, for secure and efficient operation of the application.
- Experience with integrating data analytics tools for insights generation and reporting.
