Database-Driven bash Script Creation

I am looking to have a bash script developed that pulls variables from a remote MySQL database. These variables need to be stored in memory solely for the duration of the script, which will only be run once at the start. No constant refreshing or updating will be required. The main function of pulling these variables from the database is to automate certain tasks.

- Must be proficient in bash scripting and MySQL
- Experience in database-driven automation is a plus
- Should understand the concept of variable use and storage in memory
