Create a SQL query for me to update a column in a table in postgresql

Hi.

I have a select statement already made up to gather data. I have a table with a column that needs to be updated with my select statement. I need someone to create a query to update the values for a specific column in the table with my select statement. This should be simple for someone who knows postgresql.

I need someone who can start right away and connect to my PC.
