Configure a secure remote read-only connection to our MariaDB database
I can pay $2 for connecting to the code base or work session and $2 extra for the resolution of this issue. The only caveat is that this issue gets resolved before moving on. At this point, I can also pay $1 for each additional resolution of any more issues that you find as long as you write down the expected resolutions for them prior to fixing them, either in a chat message or in our spreadsheet. I will almost always say yes immediately and let you tackle them.
We are trying to give remote third-party read-only access for our MariaDB database to an administrative assistant. We are currently successfully running a local copy and a server copy through the J2EE Enterprise Edition of IntelliJ Idea. What we have done is install MySQL Workbench which appears to connect successfully with a local host connection. We need to replicate that for her with either her own local (copy) of the database or preferably directly to the server with a read-only account. Assistance in setting this up in a live session would be greatly appreciated.
