Build MVP Digital Library Site

I need a small-scale but fully functional digital library put online quickly. The core is simple: visitors arrive, browse three top-level categories—Fiction, Non-fiction, and Science—and open an individual book page where they can choose to download the title as PDF or EPUB.

Before the file is served, an intermediate page should appear for a few seconds with a visible countdown; this is where Google AdSense banners will display. A lightweight ad-placement plugin or a few lines of native code are fine as long as they meet AdSense policies.

I’m leaving the tech stack up to you, so feel free to work in vanilla PHP, a minimal WordPress install, or any framework you prefer. Whatever you choose, keep the code clean and documented so future iterations are painless. Please connect it to a MySQL database (or equivalent) and apply essential on-page SEO—sensible URL slugs, meta tags, and schema markup for each book.
