Access MySql Database on Ubuntu Server
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
One of my staff inadvertently changed all the file permissions on the server - At least this is what I believe happened - when I try to use sudo I get the error /usr/bin/sudo must be owned by uid 0 and have the setuid bit set. I have all the files off the server but would like to have my MySql Database - the permissions being changed has stopped a lot of the processes from starting - one being the MySql service.
When I try to start this service the error is Authentication is requird to start 'mysqld.service'.
Authentication as : Beehive Advocates (bkdebtfree)
polkit-agent-helper-1: needs to be setuid root
error: Incorrect permissions on /usr/lib/policykit-1/polkit-agent-helper-1 (needs to be setuid root)
I have no root account as the password was never set for root - just the superuser bkdebtfree that is no longer a super user.
Again all i am after is the Database - unable to SSH into now because of the permissions
