CodeIgniter application Fee Reports Enhancement
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
My school-management app (PHP 7, CodeIgniter 3, MySQL) already runs smoothly, but the analytics side needs tightening up. I want to surface clearer figures in the admin dashboard and tidy a handful of report screens so staff can see paid vs. unpaid fees at a glance and export clean, reliable summaries.
Dashboard tweaks
• Add numeric widgets for Overall Fee Unpaid, School Fee Collected (paid / unpaid), Transport Fee Collected (paid / unpaid), Current-Month Paid / Unpaid, and Today’s Paid / Unpaid.
Report adjustments
• Daily Collection Report – pull the organisation logo into the header, print the report date automatically, and include a grand total row.
• Day-wise Collection – show all receipts for a picked date.
• Day-wise Expense – similar layout, but for expenses.
• Fees Due – introduce from-date & to-date filters plus an “as at” option that instantly shows the full outstanding amount as of the chosen day.
• Fee Collection – investigate and correct the current calculation logic so totals match the raw transaction data.
Tech stack remains CodeIgniter MVC with existing DB schema; no framework upgrades are needed, just controller/model changes and a few view updates. I’ll provide Git access and a staging database dump. Please keep code modular, respect current naming conventions, and document any new queries or helper functions so future maintenance stays painless.
Acceptance: I’ll run side-by-side comparisons against today’s live figures; numbers must reconcile 100 %, filters must not break pagination, and PDF/print layouts should stay intact after your edits.
