restore music to my live/apartment
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
my partner who died had a complex audio system that I don't understand. I wanted to get rid of some of the complex parts such as the Kenwood Graphic Equalizer, the dbx Program route selector, subharmonic synthesizer/electronic crossover and 3 band dynamic range controller. I took the system apart and it was very dusty. I listed those pieces at a resale place run by the NYC Dept. of Sanitation [Materials for the Arts], but there has been no response. I might want to reconnect the remaining pieces, the Carver receiver, the Sony 5 compact disk player and the Sony mini-disc and CD player to the speakers and sub-woofer, but maybe I should just get rid of the whole thing and buy something simple. We have hundreds of CDs. I haven't gotten into Spotify much, but probably that would be easier.
