I need advice on a call and perhaps to contract a music manager

Hi! I was approached to license my song "Bajalo" for an upcoming compilation. I was told that before I see a contract, I need to solicit the song and get an entertainment lawyer with an employee ID for Virgin/UMG to clear possible copyright issues. It sounds fishy. Is it legit? I was hoping you'd be available for a one hour convo tonight to learn about how the process works, and to try and figure out if the offer is legitimate.
