About the Role:
We are seeking talented Music Track Description Annotators to join our team on a contract basis. In this unique role, you will be responsible for watching selected music tracks on YouTube and providing detailed, creative descriptions that capture both the visual and auditory essence of each clip. Your annotations will play a crucial role in enriching our music-related projects, catering to a diverse range of genres and subgenres.
Key Responsibilities:
Watch assigned 10-second video clips from a wide range of music genres and subgenres.
Provide 3-4 line descriptions for each clip, capturing the mood, instruments, genre, and visual elements.
Ensure that all descriptions are creative, accurate, and in line with our style guide.
Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Collaborate with the team for quality control and consistency.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of various music genres and musical compositions.
Excellent written communication skills in English.
Ability to write creative, descriptive content.
Keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with YouTube and how to identify video segments.
Previous experience in music annotation, music journalism, or a related field is a plus.
