Description: We are looking for an experienced web developer to repair and implement a function that allows users to download free sheet music after registering via a pop-up form. The pop-up form should collect user details and ensure the visitor is added to the mailing list via the Arigato Pro plugin, but only if the visitor is not already registered. The issue is currently present on certain pages of our website, MasterpieceMusic.org, including the page “A Minor Indulgence – Free Sheet Music for the Flute.”
Key Responsibilities:
-Repair Existing Function: Replicate the working functionality of the download button from the page Free Sheet Music for the Flute – A Minor Indulgence to the page A Minor Indulgence, by Andrew Scott – Free Sheet Music for the Flute.
-User Registration and Data Collection: Ensure that when users click the “Download” button, it triggers a pop-up form only if they are not already registered in the Arigato Pro mailing list.
-Data Submission and Download: Once users enter their details and are added to the Arigato Pro mailing list, they should be able to download the sheet music. If the user is already registered, the download should begin automatically.
-Consistency Across Pages: Ensure that the function works for all similar download buttons on MasterpieceMusic.org, including all 140 other posts linked from the Flute Solo Arrangements page.
-Challenge Question: Implement a different challenge question each time, with the answer always being less than 10.
-Referral Source Exemption: Implement logic to exempt visitors arriving from email links from the form submission process, as they are already on the mailing list.
Cross-Browser and Device Compatibility: Ensure the function works across all devices and browsers.
Requirements:
-Experience with PHP and the Arigato Pro plugin.
-Proficient in implementing pop-up forms and handling mailing list registrations.
-Strong attention to detail in ensuring the user experience is seamless and functional.
-Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise with the integration of the code snippet and plugin.
