Pop Music Producer: List of Top Pop Artists
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for someone who's very familiar with the current pop music market to give me a list of prominent solo artists and bands who are representative of the current state of pop music. I haven't followed pop music in several years and want to get caught up on the current state of the market, and a list of top contemporary artists/bands would help with that.
Obviously I already know some of the big names (as almost everyone does), and I can research this myself, e.g. by looking at who's at the top of the charts. But, there may be important artists who don't happen to be on the charts currently, and in any case I'd still like to get input from someone who's been following pop music closely in recent years.
Key requirements:
- Provide a list of top contemporary pop artists, both solo and band
- Potentially include a brief description of each artist's style and significance in the current pop landscape
Ideal skills:
- Deep knowledge of contemporary pop music
- Ability to succinctly summarize artists' styles and market positions
Just for the sake of time and simplicity I may not reply to everyone who submits a proposal, but I'll try to look at all proposals and hire one or more people for this within the next few days.
