Music catalog/library and spec ops for Production Company
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I am looking for freelance composers to fulfill request directly from music supervisors, in building the/a music library for an established production company, as well as other clientele. This leads to music placement in the users shows and other music needs, which are paid out through the composers PRO (Performance Rights Organization).
The terms differ as per needs.
On typical catalog writes, terms are 50/50 (they obtain their writers share and I handle the publishing share or we split the writers share. ) through their PRO.
ALSO, there are ongoing CUSTOM BRIEFS AND NEEDS, WHICH HAVE THEIR OWN TERMS. These are bass on the composers RATES.
