Mother and son first dance wedding song

I want to dance with my mother for my wedding the song Simple Man by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The only issue is there is a line that says, "sit beside me my only son". I have 2 brothers. I would like to somehow edit it, so that the word "only" is muted, or somehow the line is manipulated so that "my only son" is changed to "my son" seamlessly and without anyone noticing a cut in the song.
