Looking of a Dark Fantasy Music Composer
Budget: $80 – $100 USD
I'm in need of a talented music composer to create gripping scores for my horror-themed, Gothic role-playing game. The music should be dark and eerie, encapsulating the mysterious and intense atmosphere of this fantasy world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compose an initial 5 minute seamless, continuous score that will serve as background music for a game level.
- Provide small musical examples based on our discussions to help us find the right fit before compose the official score.
- Collaborate with me to refine the score based on music from other games that I will provide.
But not knowing about music it will be difficult for me to fully help you, but I will describe you and present you my game project with images.
Ideal Skills:
- Proficiency in composing for string instruments (particularly violin and cello), electronic/synth sounds, and piano and orchestral elements. You can use and Digital Audio Workstation software if you like.
- Experienced in scoring for video games or similar media.
- Ability to understand and translate a given mood or tone into music.
- Provide with ideas and small music scores before compose the final score.
I will supply a few examples of music that I think might work, but I will also need your expertise to help find the perfect score. The ability to create a haunting, melancholic undertone is crucial.
The composer will compose a single score first so the budget is for one music. But if I will be satisficed I will order more music scores.
There will not be deadlines. But I will need a reasonable time to finish the score or at least progress. I will not ask you to rush. I am just expecting a normal progress. There will be some edits and corrections during the composing it is necessary to accept to do edits and corrections without extra charge.
