Folk Tabla Player for Events
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m organising a live show on 24.1.26. I need an accomplished tabla player to anchor the rhythm section on stage. Every performance is in-person and centers on folk repertoire, so a deep command of traditional patterns, clear tonal balance, and the confidence to engage an audience without studio retakes are essential. If you occasionally sprinkle in classical or fusion nuances, great; the spine of each set, however, must stay true to folk roots.
Deliverables
• Perform from 7pm-9:30pm on the day with a short break in between
• Attend a brief sound-check/rehearsal the day before each booking to lock cues with the band.
• Provide your own tuned tabla and any preferred mic placement guidance for the house engineer.
