Christian Music Ministry Coordinator or Team -- 2
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
The Christian Music Ministry Coordinator or Team will book singers, groups, praise teams, choirs for Sunday worship services as needed. Coordinator or team will have a good knowledge of current trends surrounding Christian music genres with a primary emphasis towards worship songs.
The Christian Music Ministry Coordinator or Team will publicize and regularly promote Sunday worship services by highlighting singers, groups, praise teams, and or choirs slated to perform. The coordinator or team will advertise in a way to bring in as many people as possible for Sunday worship.
Christian Music Ministry Coordinator or Team Responsibilities Include:
1. Finding and booking Christian music talent for Sunday worship services.
2. Recruit and develop a music ministry (local singers and musicians) for future worship services.
3. Coordinate with local stakeholders (schools, colleges, etc.) that also nurture music/vocal talents.
4. Ability to develop and maintain contacts and exercise good judgment.
5. Advertise in a way to bring in as many people as possible for Sunday worship.
6. Book music providers no less than four (4) weeks in advance of their scheduled date of service.
7. Negotiate honorariums/fees for ministry of service.
8. Confirm needs of each provider prior to perform no less than 14 days prior to performance date.
9. Create a contract outlining the terms of the agreement, including honorarium/fees, date and time of
service, the length of band’s performance and any other demands.
