Band Sound Engineering and Equipment Setup
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I'm looking for an experienced sound engineer to support my band for one evening in Upminister, 24 October. Set up, performance and pack down 4hrs total.
4 piece folk band with caller - requires 1 roving microphone, 4 mics on stands, 2 radio mics for drum and melodeon.
We require you to bring speakers, mixers, cables and mics etc., and to set up and pack down. Our budget is very small (lower end of the project scale) so we would require someone local to Upminster, London who could provide these services easily and at a low cost. Proposals from freelances outside the UK will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Live sound mixing during performances
- Equipment setup and maintenance
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency with microphones, PA systems, mixing consoles, amplifiers, and speakers
- Prior experience working with bands in a live setting
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on the spot
