In Person Piano Teacher for Christian Private School in Los Angeles $25-30 p/hr

I am seeking a qualified, engaging, and patient in-person piano teacher for a group of elementary-aged, beginner level students at a Christian private school near downtown Los Angeles. The class will be held once a week for 2.5 hours, from 3-5pm. There will be 5-7 students in each class, and the focus will be on teaching the fundamentals of music, with an aim to help students read basic sheet music and advance through their music books. The gig will last from March til end of May. If it's a good fit, teacher can continue next school year from September 2025-May 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach a beginner piano class to elementary-aged students

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience teaching piano to young children
- Strong understanding of music theory and piano
- Excellent communication skills and patience
- Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment
Fun and easy gig. Perfect for college students that play music, or someone who lives near downtown LA. While not required, understanding church culture, or growing up in church would be helpful since it's a religious school. Person must be highly trustworthy, responsible, and engaging.
