Acoustic Lead and Background Music Creation -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
NEED: lead and background music for a song I've written with youtube video. 1) I need an acoustic lead guitar track. 2) Next, I need background multi-instrument music to accompany the song.
WHO: You need to be a strong acoustic lead guitar performer. You *also* need to be able to create and multi-instrumental environmental music with an orchestral feel to support the rest of the song, so you need to be good at overall music creation/production. You need to be a person who already fits the Vibe of the song (see below). For example, if your love is death-metal or trip-hop, please don't apply:)
WHEN: This week. I need first draft by Nov 15, final by Nov 17 2024.
BACKGROUND: the song currently has 1x lead vocals and 1x rhythm acoustic guitar. It's a singer-songwriter feel. The audio has already been produced, and a first draft of the youtube video has already been created, so you get a feel for the song's direction.
VIBE: The song is called "Grieve-Love" and is a heart-felt lyrical song with strong vocals about transforming grief and loss to love and healing. The song has a background in contemporary spirituality and would sit closer to new age than pop, although is neither and is also both:)
WHAT: I need you to create an original acoustic guitar lead track to accompany the already vox + rhythm guitar. It will be very simple and basically background music until there's a break in the music specifically for a lead guitar solo.
Next, I'll get you to create multi-instrumental background music to accompany the rest of the music. Think environmental fill music with an orchestral feel. You could use an actual bass guitar or a midi keyboard mix to create a bass-line, and also environmental orchestral support music via midi keys etc to round out the rest of the song.
HOW: I'll send you the acoustic track first. Please use 2 live mics on a deep bodied acoustic guitar, preferably, with no or little pickups in the mix. Then you'll create the environmental orchestral support music with bass line. Once you're done, please do not mix down the tracks, send me all original tracks (I'll mix everything myself, although you can create a mix to your liking to show me your preference). Once that has been created, and fits the song, then we'll finalize the choices and tracks. The final tracks should be delivered in WAV format. Right now I'm using Adobe's Audition, if you have that (if not I'll just import the raw tracks etc.)
