Corrupted Broadcast Music Video Teaser for music artist
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Title: Cinematic EP Teaser Trailer (25 sec – Vertical)
Overview:
I’m creating a 25-second cinematic teaser for my upcoming EP. The video should feel like a corrupted TV broadcast that transitions into an emotional, dark, and cinematic music experience.
Concept:
The video opens with a TV displaying generic COVID-era news coverage (muted, distant, or distorted audio). The footage should feel real but slightly degraded.
The signal then begins to break — static, glitches, distortion — and transitions into my music. The broadcast should feel like it’s “hijacked,” shifting from reality into my world.
Creative Direction / Mood:
- Dark
- Cinematic
- Emotional
- Slightly eerie / unsettling
- Trailer-style pacing
Visual Style:
- VHS-style overlays and subtle camera movement
- Glitch / static transitions
- Distortion effects (signal loss, interference, flicker)
- Quick, intentional cuts synced to music
Audio Direction:
- Blend 2–3 songs from my EP into the transitions
- Use cinematic rises, drops, or impact moments
- Audio should feel like it’s breaking through the broadcast
Structure (Suggested Flow):
0:00–0:08 — TV news footage (stable → slightly distorted)
0:08–0:15 — Signal interruption (glitch intensifies, audio shifts)
0:15–0:23 — Full transition into music + cinematic visuals
0:23–0:25 — Minimal text reveal
Text (Minimal):
Examples:
- “Conditions Changed”
- “05.14”
Format Requirements:
- Vertical (9:16)
- Optimized for Instagram Reels & TikTok
- High-quality export (1080x1920 minimum)
Goal:
Create a teaser that feels like a movie trailer for a music project, not a typical social media edit. It should stop scrolling instantly and leave people curious.
Important:
Please only apply if you have experience with cinematic edits, trailers, or music visuals with strong storytelling.
