$$HIRE/PAID GIG$$ Seeking Hybrid Music Producer & Virtual Assistant for UPRISING Collective ProjectWe are the UPRISING Collective, a group launching a collaborative compilation project on Reddit, and we're looking for a highly organized, creatively versatile individual to serve in a hybrid Producer/VA role. This is a paid position designed for someone who can seamlessly switch between creative tasks and administrative management.The Project: "Uprise Volume 1" & Ongoing ManagementThe immediate task is to help coordinate and produce the "Uprise Volume 1" compilation—a multi-genre collaboration showcasing the best talent from the subreddit community. Beyond the compilation, you will help manage the collective's day-to-day digital operations.Your Dual Role & ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a single individual to cover two main areas:1. Music Producer (Creative/Technical)Production: Oversee and contribute to the production quality of all submitted tracks for the compilation. This includes mixing, mastering, or offering detailed feedback for final revisions.Creative Coordination: Act as the technical liaison between collaborating artists (e.g., matching a vocalist to a producer, managing stems, ensuring file specs are met).Contribution: Opportunity to produce or co-produce 1-2 tracks for the final album.2. Virtual Assistant (Business/Administrative)Project Management: Maintain a clear schedule and track deadlines for all artists involved in the compilation using a shared platform (e.g., Trello, Notion).Communication: Handle all external communication with collaborators via Reddit DMs, email, and Discord, ensuring fast, professional responses.Distribution Prep: Prepare and organize metadata, liner notes, and digital files for final distribution across streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.).Promotion Support: Assist with scheduling and posting promotional content, link tracking, and managing the collective's social media presence on relevant platforms.Ideal Skills & QualificationsProven Music Production Skills: Must have a portfolio demonstrating high-quality mixing and mastering.Excellent Organizational Skills: Experience using digital tools for project management (spreadsheets, scheduling software).Strong Communication: Professional, proactive, and timely in all correspondence.Self-Sufficient: Able to work independently and manage time effectively from a remote location.Familiarity with Reddit: Understanding of how to engage effectively with music communities on this platform is a major plus.
