Mobile DJ Lessons Needed
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
I recently picked up a DJ controller and want to become fully comfortable performing at mobile events. My end-goal is to mix Electronic Dance Music and Pop seamlessly for weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
Here’s what I need:
• A structured series of live sessions that walk me from the absolute basics to confident, event-ready skills.
• Hands-on guidance in beat-matching, phrasing, harmonic mixing, track selection, and building a set that keeps a diverse crowd engaged.
• Practical tips on reading the room, making smooth microphone transitions, and handling common on-site issues (sound checks, last-minute requests, equipment hiccups).
• Advice on organising playlists, creating crates, and preparing quick edits or re-drums so my sets stay fresh and professional.
• Workflow tailored to my hardware: a modern DJ controller running rekordbox, Serato, or VirtualDJ (open to whichever you teach best).
By the end of our time together I should be able to show up, plug in, and deliver a polished, two-hour mobile DJ set without second-guessing my transitions or track flow.
Please outline:
– Your teaching method and typical session length
– Recommended number of lessons to reach event-ready status
– The software you prefer and any materials you provide (practice tracks, cheat-sheets, short videos, etc.)
I’m eager to start as soon as we can lock in a schedule.
