I just need help with transitions
I’m building a fresh DJ mix and need a well-structured playlist built entirely around Electronic Dance Music, with a clear emphasis on House. Please select tracks that flow naturally in energy and key so I can drop them straight into a set without heavy re-editing or major key clashes.
While I only want EDM and specifically House for this brief, feel free to weave in different shades of the style—classic, deep, tech, progressive—so the mix breathes and evolves. Hip-Hop/Rap and Pop aren’t required here, so no need to include them.
Deliverables
• A track list (minimum 40-50 minutes of music) ordered for seamless mixing, including artist, title, remix/version, BPM and key for each song.
• Optional but appreciated: short transition notes where you foresee creative blends or loops that can keep momentum.
I’ll load the list into rekordbox and Serato, so please double-check metadata accuracy. If you use Beatport, Traxsource, or similar crates as references, that’s perfect—just note any exclusive edits or hard-to-find promos so I can source them quickly.
Once delivered, I’ll test-mix the set; a quick revision round is fine if we need to tweak pacing or swap tracks that don’t sit right in the room. Excited to hear your selections!
