Classical Wedding Aisle Composition
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m looking for a romantic processional that sets a graceful mood as my fiance and I walk down the aisle. The piece should be classical in style, purely instrumental, and built around piano supported by a string quartet, but can be with only piano as well.
Scope
• Length: around 5 minutes to incorporate all of our people and the songs, enough to cover a calm, unhurried entrance.
• Feel: elegant, uplifting, with a clear melodic arc and gentle dynamics; no abrupt changes other than the ones in the songs already.
• Format: deliver a high-quality MP3 plus the full score and individual parts in PDF (notation software of your choice). A MIDI file is welcome but optional.
Creative notes
This is a surprise for my fiance. I want to incorporate 2-3 songs together to create our dream processional.
My fiance loves to idea of walking down the aisle himself to Test Flight from How to Train Your Dragon as well as potentially incorporating Would You Fall in Love With Me Again from the Epic Musical (the last roughly minute ~ 3:45-4:45)
I have always wanted to walk down the aisle to golden hour by JVKE. If we cut out the middle crescendo ~ 1:16-2:33 it's about a minute which would give me plenty of time to walk down the aisle (it's a long aisle)
One thing I don't like about current versions online is too much emphasis on the words of golden hour, I really cannot find an instrumental of that I like other than his orchestra version.
I would love if these 3 songs could be compiled into one coherent song with pretty transitions.
Timeline
Ideally, I’d like a first draft within 2 weeks for feedback and a finalized master one week after any revisions.
If you have a sample of a past piano-string wedding piece, feel free to share it will help us confirm we’re on the same wavelength before you proceed to full production.
