Catchy 80s Synth Chorus Topline

I’ve got the verses, pre-chorus, and overall concept for the opening track of my album locked in, but the chorus melody refuses to click. The instrumental is a dramatic, 80s-inspired synth production in F♯ minor at roughly 74 BPM, and the emotion I need the hook to hit is powerful, frustrated, almost cinematic. Think soaring, belted lines that break into a high-note climax and linger in the listener’s head after one play. I want the listener to think "damn, that's deep" and for them to feel what I feel.
