Salesforce Quote PDF Reader Integration

I need to connect an automated PDF-reading service to Salesforce so our team can generate quotes from the PDFs we receive. MuleSoft is our preferred middleware, but I’m open to any equivalent integration approach that keeps everything inside the Salesforce security model.

Scope
• Build an integration flow that picks up an incoming quote PDF (usually captured through DocuSign), extracts the required text fields, and pre-populates the standard Quote object.
• Enable form-filling inside the PDF when data already lives in Salesforce, so reps can revise and resend the document without leaving the platform.
• Provide clear setup documentation and a short hand-over session so my admin can maintain the flow.

Key requirements
• Text extraction must be reliable across varied vendor templates.
• Form-filling must respect existing DocuSign envelopes and maintain field mapping.
• Solution should be deployable in a sandbox first, then promoted to production with change sets or CI/CD.

What I’ll look at first
Show me where you have already integrated PDF parsing or MuleSoft (or similar iPaaS) with Salesforce—links, screenshots, or a short summary of the outcome are perfect.
