I have to move customer data seamlessly between MuleSoft and two SAP landscapes—our legacy SAP ERP instance and the newer SAP S/4HANA environment. My goal is a robust, reusable set of Mule flows that can pull, transform, and push client-related records without manual intervention.
Here is what I need you to handle from start to finish:
• Build and configure the MuleSoft connectors for both SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA, choosing the most reliable approach (IDoc, BAPI, or RFC) for each.
• Design data-mapping logic so that customer objects stay consistent across versions and custom fields.
• Implement near-real-time triggers where feasible; for scheduled batches, aim for smart error handling and restartability.
• Package the solution in Anypoint Studio projects, then promote through our standard CI/CD pipeline (Git, Maven, Jenkins).
• Provide concise documentation and unit tests so my internal team can extend the flows later.
Success for me means a working deployment in our QA tenant that syncs new, changed, and deleted customer records between the two SAP systems through MuleSoft, with no data loss and clear logs for troubleshooting.
