Enhance Existing Mulesoft Platform

Our integration layer already runs on Mulesoft, but it now needs a seasoned hand to push it further. The immediate focus is to refine and extend the APIs that drive our day-to-day operations, design robust new integration solutions, and handle the DataWeave transformations that tie everything together.

The assignment centres on enhancing an existing system rather than starting from scratch. I need measurable performance gains, a cleaner user experience for the teams who consume the APIs, and several new feature endpoints delivered without disrupting current traffic. That means profiling the current flows, eliminating bottlenecks, tightening memory usage, and then rolling out additional functionality with solid test coverage.

You will work inside Anypoint Studio, API Manager and Exchange; experience with CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitHub Actions or Jenkins) will make collaboration smoother.

Deliverables (all must be met for sign-off):
• Optimised API and flow performance demonstrated by agreed benchmark metrics
• At least two new feature endpoints live in our staging and production environments
• An updated, clearer API Portal / UI for internal consumers, including revised documentation
• A concise hand-over note outlining changes, configuration, and rollback instructions
