Ubuntu 22.04 SVN/Apache/MQTT Setup

Job ID: 40521682

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a fresh Ubuntu 22.04 instance spun up on Google’s cloud (their ECS-style VM) and fully configured with three services: an SVN server, Apache, and an MQTT broker.

SVN is the priority. I will supply notes that describe the custom repository structure I want as well as the user-authentication rules. You will translate those notes into a working configuration, test that check-ins/outs succeed, and make sure credentials are enforced exactly as specified.

Apache only needs a standard install for now—just enough to host basic web content and, if you choose, to act as the front end for SVN via mod_dav_svn. The MQTT broker can be Mosquitto; a stock setup on the default ports is fine so long as it starts automatically and is reachable from the outside once the firewall rules are in place.

Deliverables
• A running Google VM on Ubuntu 22.04 with SVN (custom repo structure + user auth), Apache, and Mosquitto all enabled at boot
• Basic firewall rules that expose only SSH, HTTP/HTTPS, and the MQTT port
• A short hand-over document or shell/Ansible script that reproduces the build from scratch

I will consider the job complete when I can log in, commit to the SVN repo with the provided credentials, load a test page over HTTP, and publish/subscribe a test message on the broker.
