MQTT Server with API Functions
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I'm in need of a skilled developer to help set up an MQTT server on a CENT OS web server. The project has three main components:
- MQTT Server Setup: We have already deployed MQTT Server and its working
- API Functions: The server should also have the ability to create new MQTT users dynamically through APIs. These APIs should support the creation of unique username-password pairs.
- Topic Limitation: I need the ability to restrict certain topics to specific usernames and passwords. This feature is crucial for ensuring secure and controlled communications on the server.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in C: Strong understanding of Eclipse Mosquito™ server
- Strong Understanding of Eclipse Mosquitto™: A deep understanding of the Eclipse Mosquitto MQTT protocol is necessary for efficient communication between the devices and clients.
- API Development: Experience in developing APIs is vital for creating the dynamic username-password functionality. and restricting Topics to Username and Passwords.
- Security Knowledge: Knowledge of web server security practices is crucial to ensure that the MQTT server is protected and topic limitations are enforced.
Please note that the server is self-hosted using Eclipse Mosquitto. If you have prior experience with this setup, it would be a plus. Your approach should focus on creating a stable, secure, and scalable MQTT server with the specified features.
Our goal is to dynamically create
Username and Passwords with Topics using a web interface.
We should be able to Restricts username and password for having only Publisher or only Subscriber role
We should be able to call data onto our web application dynamically
For example we need to create new sites where API's does all the work and Creates a unique Username and Password and Client ID for that site and informs web applications
While it will be restricted for that site/device only.
