Carry & Crush Storage Boxes
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Twenty packed boxes are sitting in the storage room just outside my office. The executor of my late husband’s estate is in the same building and wants to go through them a couple at a time. Your role is strictly physical: bring one-to-two boxes at a time to the executor, wait while he reviews the contents, crush any empties, and repack what stays so we end up with as few keeper boxes as possible. No sorting decisions are required on your part—only moving, flattening, and consolidating.
Scheduling is flexible; I’m waiting to hear which hours work best for the executor, so we can arrange morning, afternoon, or evening sessions once I have his preference. The overall time needed will depend on how quickly he reviews each box, so please be comfortable with an open-ended duration that could span multiple short visits rather than one long shift.
Please bring gloves and anything else you like for safely lifting and breaking down cardboard. The storage room is at ground level and the executor’s office is on the same floor, so no stairs or vehicle transport is involved.
