Ride-On Car PCB Design
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I have a children’s ride-on car that needs a single, compact PCB capable of handling everything the toy does—driving the motor, pulsing the lights, and playing the built-in sound effects.
Here’s what matters most to me right now:
• Motor control – Forward / reverse, smooth acceleration, and over-current protection for a 12 V brushed DC motor
• Lighting system – Headlights, indicators, and brake lights with simple PWM dimming
• Sound effects – Triggered horn and engine sounds driven by a small on-board audio amplifier and speaker output
You can choose the microcontroller and driver ICs you prefer but I prefer esp32 module or soc and bts 7960 or better, as long as they’re easy to source and well-documented. I’ll need the full schematic, BOM, PCB layout, and Gerber/NC drill files so I can go straight to fabrication. A brief test procedure that shows how you verified motor, LED, and audio functions on your end will round things off.
KiCad, Altium, or Eagle are all fine—just export the standard manufacturing files so I’m not locked into any one tool.
