About the brand
Applied Dharma is a mindset, wellness, and spiritual growth content brand. We currently produce short-form Reels and YouTube Shorts (under 30 seconds) and are now expanding into long-form YouTube content. Our aesthetic is calm, intentional, and professionally polished, think clean visuals, clear structure, and content that feels grounded rather than flashy.
What this project involves
We are looking for a skilled video editor to produce one long-form YouTube video (10–15 minutes) as a trial. Everything you need will be provided, you focus purely on production and editing.
You will receive:
Full script and content
Brand styling guidelines and visual direction
Detailed editing notes and direction for each section
Any assets needed (fonts, colors, references)
What we expect in the final video
Professional-quality editing, clean cuts, smooth pacing, good flow
Custom motion graphics and title cards aligned to our brand
On-screen text, callouts, and visual reinforcement of key ideas
Background music (royalty-free) suited to a calm wellness tone
Color grading consistent with our existing brand palette
Delivery in 1080p or higher, optimised for YouTube
What we're looking for in you
Demonstrated experience editing long-form YouTube content
Strong motion graphics skills (After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
A portfolio or examples showing relevant past work, please share links when you apply
Ability to work independently with clear briefs and follow direction closely
Good communication and reasonable turnaround time

This is a paid trial for one video. If it goes well, there is strong potential for a regular, ongoing engagement as we scale the Applied Dharma YouTube channel. We are looking for the right person who cares about quality and is excited about this kind of content.
