AE Templates Video Editor/Motion Designer
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I am looking for a skilled video editor and motion designer to help convert After Effects (AE) templates into assets compatible with the img.ly engine. The goal is to maintain the premium look of AE while making the final product interactive and editable for end-users.
Your Responsibility:
You will be responsible for breaking down AE projects and preparing them for the img.ly environment following these specific steps:
Asset Categorization: Identify which parts must remain editable (text, image placeholders) and which are complex effects.
Prerendering: Export complex visuals like particles, light leaks, and heavy blurs as .MOV files with alpha channels (transparency).
Technical Setup: Ensure all prerenders match the main video resolution and duration (or are loopable).
Optimization: Simplify or ignore subtle details that do not impact the overall visual to ensure mobile performance.
Layering Logic: Organize assets so they can be stacked correctly: Prerendered Overlays > Editable Text/Images > Background.
Requirements:
Expertise in Adobe After Effects.
Experience with Alpha Channel exports and transparent video overlays.
Understanding of masking techniques to "fake" advanced visuals within simpler editors.
Ability to match timing and simple animations (fade, slide, scale) from a demo video.
