Science Documentary Video Production

Job ID: 40373416

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m expanding my YouTube channel with a series of long-form, documentary-style videos that unpack Science and Technology topics for a young-adult audience. The tone should feel fresh and cinematic—think Kurzgesagt or Vox’s “Explained,” but with our own visual identity and pacing.

Here’s how I see the workflow: I provide the overarching subject (for example, CRISPR breakthroughs or the race to commercial fusion). You independently dig into reputable sources, craft a tight narrative arc, and translate complex ideas into clear, relatable language. From there, you storyboard, edit, and add motion graphics, stock or self-shot B-roll, subtle sound design, and on-screen titles that hold attention for 15–25 minutes without feeling padded.

Deliverables
• One complete 4K video file ready for upload (mp4 or mov)
• Source project files (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) plus any After Effects comps
• A final script and reference list for fact-checking
• Thumbnail concept (PSD or layered file)

Acceptance criteria
• Scientific accuracy confirmed by cited peer-reviewed or primary sources
• Narrative maintains viewer retention above 50% in YouTube analytics test upload
• All footage, graphics, and music are either original, royalty-free, or properly licensed

If you’re comfortable blending research, storytelling, and visual flair for an audience that craves depth without the lecture vibe, let’s talk schedules and the first topic outline.
