We are launching a podcast focused on wellness, recovery, longevity, health optimisation, business, and high-performance living, and we're looking for an experienced Podcast Video Editor to join our team.
Role Overview
We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Podcast Video Editor who can transform raw podcast footage into engaging, professional, high-quality content suitable for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for editing full-length podcast episodes, creating short-form social media content, adding motion graphics, captions, branding elements, and producing content that maximises audience engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities
• Edit full-length podcast episodes for YouTube and website publication
• Remove mistakes, pauses, filler words, and unnecessary content
• Improve pacing and storytelling throughout each episode
• Synchronise multiple camera angles where applicable
• Colour correction and colour grading
• Audio balancing and enhancement
• Add branded intros and outros
• Add lower thirds and speaker name graphics
• Add motion graphics and animated text overlays
• Add engaging transitions and visual effects where appropriate
• Create custom YouTube thumbnails
• Create 5-10 short-form clips per episode for social media
• Add captions and animated subtitles to social clips
• Incorporate B-roll, stock footage, graphics, charts, and supporting visuals where relevant
• Deliver content optimised for YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook Reels, and LinkedIn
Desired Skills & Experience
• Proven experience editing video podcasts
• Strong portfolio showcasing podcast and social media content
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar software
• Motion graphics experience using Adobe After Effects or equivalent
• Experience creating engaging short-form content that drives audience retention
• Strong understanding of YouTube audience growth and engagement strategies
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
