Educational YouTube Editor & Animator
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I produce short-form educational videos and need a reliable editor who can polish the footage and bring data to life with simple, flat-design graph animations. Your job is to take my raw clips, trim the fat, balance audio, add light colour correction, then weave in clean motion graphics that clearly illustrate the talking points—think bar charts, line graphs or pie charts that slide or fade in without distracting from the lesson.
Here’s how I picture the workflow:
• I send you a folder with the footage, script highlights and any data that needs visualising.
• You cut a cohesive edit in Premiere (or a comparable NLE), drop in subtle background music where it fits, and place on-brand lower thirds if needed.
• Using After Effects (or similar), you create flat-design graphs that match the channel’s colour palette. The animation should be smooth, minimal and informative rather than flashy.
• Export a 1080p (or higher) master plus a version with transparent background for social repurposing, and return the project files so I can tweak if necessary.
Accuracy of the data displayed in each graph and overall pacing of the edit will be my key acceptance criteria. If you have a reel that shows educational work with crisp, modern infographics, I’d love to see it.
