I post a lifestyle-focused vlog every single day on both YouTube and Instagram and now need a reliable video editor who can keep up with that schedule. The look I’m after is the familiar, traditional vlog style—clean jump-cuts, pacing that matches natural speech, subtle background music, and on-screen text only where it truly adds value. I like to keep things authentic, so heavy colour grading or flashy transitions aren’t required; however, I do occasionally drop in light special effects or motion graphics for emphasis, so you should be comfortable adding those whenever the story calls for it.
Typical raw footage ranges from 10–20 minutes per day, shot mostly on a phone and a mirrorless camera. Turnaround time is 24 hours, as the content needs to go live the next day. I’m currently exporting in 1080p for Instagram Reels and 4K for YouTube, so you’ll need to deliver two aspect-ratio cuts: 16:9 and 9:16, optimised and compressed without sacrificing quality. If you’re experienced with Premiere Pro or Final Cut and know your way around basic motion graphics templates, we’ll get along well.
