3D Character Explainer Animation

I’m putting together a polished explainer video for a SaaS product and need a creative partner who can blend clean editorial pacing with eye-catching motion graphics. The core of the job is a 3D animation that uses stylised characters to walk viewers through the product story from pain-point to solution.

Here’s what I have in mind:

• Format & length: around 60–90 seconds, delivered in 1080p (or 4K if you prefer) plus the editable project files.
• Look & feel: modern, tech-friendly and upbeat. Think subtle depth of field, smooth character rigs, UI call-outs floating in space, and minimal yet lively environments that match a SaaS brand.
• Scope: you’ll handle the full animation pipeline—storyboard/animatic, character and prop modelling (Blender, Cinema 4D or Maya are all fine), texture/lighting, keyframe animation, and final compositing in After Effects or similar. I’ll supply the script, brand colours, logo and high-fidelity UI screens.
• Sound: basic SFX and a rights-cleared music bed to reinforce transitions; I’ll add the final VO once the timing lock is approved.
• File delivery: MP4 (h.264) for web, ProRes master for archive, plus all source files neatly organised.

Acceptance criteria
1. Visual style matches approved storyboard and brand guidelines.
2. Character performance reads clearly without distracting camera moves.
3. Motion graphics integrate product UI elements seamlessly with the 3D scene.
4. Final render plays smoothly at target frame rate and passes my in-house QC.
