The ideal candidate should have experience in default counseling and be able to provide guidance and assistance in preventing foreclosures. The specific issue that needs to be addressed is foreclosure prevention, and the counselor should have knowledge of loan modification and payment plan assistance. The counselor should also be able to provide pre-purchase and post-purchase counseling to ensure that I am well-informed throughout the process.
