I am looking for a computer technician who is capable of managing a server and regularly updating the MOODLE platform
Budget: €20 – €35 EUR
My company uses a Moodle platform installed on a rented server. When Moodle.org releases a new version, it also declares the vulnerabilities that the new version fixes. If we don't immediately update to the new version, the vulnerabilities are used by hackers to attack our server. The attacks are manifested by sending hundreds of spam messages from our platform. Victims of these mailings sue us for abuse and our server is isolated until the issue is resolved. To avoid this, we must update the Moodle platform every time a new version eliminates vulnerabilities.
Skills required: the freelancer must be able to manage a server, install a Moodle platform and update it to the current version.
No exact deadline, but we would like to have this sorted in about 1 month approximately.
