[Moodle] Plugin Show Password

I need to develop a small plugin for Moodle, it consists of being able to add to the login the function to see/hide password with an eye icon.
I know that I could insert modify the Moodle login directly to add the functionality, but I am not authorized because when we update Moodle the functionality could be lost.

Compatibility: Moodle 4.0 or higher
Procedure: build it in your local environment, we test it on my site and that's it, I don't have an online development environment to share.
