Tourist Safety Monitoring Web Application
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I need a full-stack web application that lets tourists feel protected the moment they arrive in a new city. Tourists will register with a simple e-mail-and-password flow, log in from any device, and see a clean, responsive dashboard built with React.js. From there the system must track their live location (with consent), let them trigger an Emergency SOS alert at any time, and quietly enforce geo-fencing rules so I’m notified if they stray into restricted or high-risk zones.
Behind the scenes, Node.js and Express.js should power a secure REST API, while MongoDB stores user, trip, and incident data. The emergency flow is the heart of the project, so I expect sub-second alert creation, WebSocket/push updates for admins, and reliable delivery even under load. An admin console will allow operators and emergency responders to monitor active tourists, review incident logs, and broadcast safety messages.
Please build with best-practice security—JWT authentication, hashed passwords, HTTPS ready—and design the architecture so I can scale out easily on a cloud host later. The UI must work flawlessly on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Deliverables
• Complete source code in a Git repository
• Deployed staging site (URL) for acceptance testing
• API & DB schema documentation (OpenAPI or similar)
• Brief setup/maintenance guide
Acceptance criteria
• Email/password registration, login, and JWT-protected routes
• Real-time location tracking visible on the admin map
• Working Emergency SOS alert that creates an incident record and pushes a notification to the admin dashboard in under one second
• Geo-fence breach triggers an automated warning and admin alert
• Responsive design verified on at least three screen sizes
If you have prior experience with location services, real-time notifications, or building secure Node.js APIs, let’s talk—this project needs production-ready quality from day one.
