Setup Claude & Python Project
Budget: ₹400 – ₹750 INR
I need hands-on guidance, ideally over a screen-share, to get Claude’s code interface running smoothly on my MacBook Air (Apple silicon, latest macOS). Once the environment is up, I want to walk through building a very small Django web application that talks to MongoDB. My goal is to refresh skills I last used seven years ago, so please plan to explain what you are doing as we go—package selection, virtual-environment setup, Homebrew installs, and any Claude-specific configuration steps.
Here is what I’d like us to accomplish together:
• Install or configure Claude code locally so I can run prompts and execute snippets.
• Set up Python 3.x, pip, virtualenv, VS Code (or another lightweight IDE if you prefer), plus Git for version control.
• Create a fresh Django project with one example app.
• Integrate MongoDB (using the recommended Django adapter) and demonstrate full CRUD from a simple view or REST endpoint.
• Leave me with clean, commented code and a README that lets me recreate the project from scratch.
I learn fastest by doing, so expect a collaborative session where you drive at first and then hand me the keyboard. Clear explanations, patient pacing, and a final checklist of installed tools and commands executed will be the acceptance criteria.
