React E-Commerce Internship Project

I’m building an e-commerce platform as the capstone for my MERN-stack internship and need a React specialist to bring the front-end to life. All page designs are ready, so the priority is translating those screens into clean, component-based code that plugs smoothly into the Node/Express API I’m preparing and, ultimately, MongoDB.

Key goals
• Develop responsive product listings, detail pages, cart, and checkout from my provided layouts
• Handle state management (Redux or Context API—open to your recommendation) and ensure smooth routing with React Router
• Integrate front-end calls to REST endpoints; I’ll supply the endpoint specs as we go
• Set up basic authentication flow so registered users can manage their profiles and orders
• Optimise for performance and accessibility, keeping the codebase easy for me to learn from and extend

Acceptance criteria
• Every designed screen renders pixel-accurately on modern desktop and mobile browsers
• All critical user flows (browse, add to cart, purchase) complete without errors using mock API data
• Code is pushed to a GitHub repo with clear commit history and concise README for setup and future development
