React Accounting Website with OCR

I’m ready to commission a web app that lets users keep every financial record in one place. The stack is set: React for the front-end, Tesseract.js to pull data from scanned documents, and MongoDB as the persistent store.

Here’s what I need built:

• A clean React interface that allows users to add, view, search, and edit all of their financial records in real time.
• An upload flow where receipts or invoices are sent through Tesseract.js; the extracted text should pre-fill a transaction form the user can confirm or correct.
• A Node/Express (or similar) API layer that connects the React client to MongoDB, with JWT-based authentication and role permissions.
• Well-structured Mongo collections for users, accounts, and transactions, optimised for quick queries and reporting.
• Basic dashboards that show balances, cash flow, and a searchable ledger.
• Setup scripts, README, and environment sample files so I can run the project locally or deploy to my VPS without hand-holding.

Acceptance criteria
• OCR accuracy above 80 % on standard receipt images (600 dpi, good lighting).
• All CRUD operations function without page reloads.
• Code passes eslint/react-recommended rules and includes concise inline docs.
• A short Loom or similar walkthrough demonstrating the main flows.
